You may recall in March of this year we asked you to help us strengthen the security of Internet Banking by using an access code when logging on to a computer for the first time. Now we are bringing even stronger safeguards to your Internet Banking account.

When this security enhancement is complete on the evening of October 23rd, you will be prompted to take two quick steps. These steps may sound familiar, but we ask that you follow each one to ensure the highest level of security for your accounts.

1. Ensure your login is strong -- After you log in as you normally do, the system will review the strength of your user ID and password. If your current login does not meet the upgraded security requirements, you will be asked to create a new user ID and/or password.

2. Obtain an access code -- You will be asked to provide a phone number where you can immediately receive an access code via text and/or automated voice message. A new access code will be required each time you log in on a computer or mobile device not recognized by the system.

You don't need to take any action now! You'll be prompted to take these steps the first time you log in to Internet Banking after the enhancement is complete.
